in the Viennese late Biedermeier style. Has an attractive grained case with ebonized finials and moldings. The 8-day movement is well made and with perfect dial and hands, signed Blau, J, Pest. Movement mounted on a wooden seatboard and sliding into wooden corbels. Extra nice 4-spoke pulley; weight with some dents. This case was filled with dust and cobwebs, but will restore nicely.
