Description

A lady in a finely detailed robe is setting on cushions pouring tea (note cup is missing). Behind the tea pot is a potted succulent in bloom, and with the same bloom in her hair; the base with a Ming style scene with several revelers being pushed up river in a covered boat, a palace in the distance. Has a good silk thread movement, time and strike and an engine turned dial with Roman numerals. It originally had a hinged rear dust cover which is lacking. This clock is in good running order. There is minor wear to the original gilding, but it is still very bright. Height 17" Reserve $1400
