Description
on case with 4 candle stands, with restoration. The case was stripped with a brillo pad and the veneer is scored, and some of the glue joints are failing. The bottom tablet is original (and wonderful); top tablet was repainted to match long ago (and a decent job of it, but hasn't the age). The label has some tears, but is very good and fully legible. The original dial is super. 8-day movement is sound and running. If you are handy with finishing you could improve this clock a lot. A good looking example of Birge and Fuller's work; height 25" $2000-2500
