Description

Much of the label is missing, but there is enough to tell it is identical to the label in Figure 31, shown in Eli Terry and the Connecticut Shelf Clock, by Roberts. This clock was acquired in the 1950s and restored at that time. It has replaced feet and skirt. Both scroll tips are original, but have been re-glued a couple of times. 2 finials are period Seth Thomas, and center is a Terry type. The tablet was redone in 1950+/- and is flaking now; it is a pleasant rendition of Mt. Vernon. Retains very good original dial. Height 32'
