Description
The dial is rather dirty and in need of restoration (surface and corners are intact, but chapter and signature will need restoration). The hands are from a later school clock, but replacements are available. The movement is in good condition with no broken teeth visible. The movement still retains its Terry type calendar mechanism (often missing). The clock has an old set of tin can weights. The case was refinished recently; floor of base reinforced with a piece of pine. Top crest and pipes old; finials maybe 100 yrs. Modest estimate based on condition of dial. Height 89" $800-1200
