Description
The shortcoming on this clock are chips by both winding holes (been painted over so do not show in photo), and the bell has been changed to a modern stamped steel job (replacements available) The case is finished to the highest quality, as is the silk thread movement; also it runs robustly, but the strike does not shut off when detent is reached and will need service. The hands are delicately pierced, plus chased and gilded. The case is surmounted by a spread eagle, also with fine detail. Height 14" Reserve $3000
