Description

Victorian Empire-design New Haven gold gilded clock. It measures 7 inches high, 3 inches wide at the base and 2 inches in depth. There is a jeweler's mark on the back showing the date 11/18/03. The top features a bust of a lady. There is a head on both sides of the clock and the bottom front. The dial is porcelain with beveled glass and in great condition. The dial reads: "New Haven, USA" at the top and of the "Made by the New Haven Clock Co., New Haven Conn" at the bottom. The case looks to have the original patina with some darkening to the gilt. The movement is original to the clock and has just been cleaned and oiled. This is a turn of the century clock that is in good running order.
